Editing Domain Name

Find a domain name hosting service such as [https://www.godaddy.com/ GoDaddy], [https://www.hostgator.com Hostgator], [https://www.register.com Register]. These services also provide web hosting for an additional fee per month. In the domain search generate a domain name that you would like to use. For the purposes of this website I chose to generate five domain names. Four of the domain names are hosted through GoDaddy which I have had an account with for several years when I purchased a domain name several years back. I had previously had an account through Register which I had purchased a domain name around 2000 and only around 2015 not renew the name after I became aware of my father's former business partner having terminal brain cancer. I chose the suffix .org top-level domains to reflect the non-profit nature of the Underground Newsletter and now the additional supporting projects of the Contract and Q&A guides. When you have the domain of your choosing that reflects the message you want to share you will need to decide how you want to organize your website or what services you will provide to your audience. For the organization of The Mail Handler Underground I have setup four subdomains, which are the first part or prefix of the URL, i.e.: www., wiki., forums., etc., I have setup the the first subdomain with no prefix for the blog, wiki for the wiki, forums for a bulletin board system, and documentation for this wiki.
